These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of hostlighting.com and any products or services provided by Host Lighting.

By visiting our website, submitting an order, or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. Online Store Terms

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to place an order through our website. You may not use our products or services for unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.

2. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to present accurate product descriptions, dimensions, finishes, colors, specifications, and photographs. However, colors and finishes may appear differently depending on lighting conditions, screen settings, and material variations.

Handcrafted, natural, glass, stone, metal, and crystal components may contain minor variations in color, pattern, texture, size, or finish. These normal variations are not necessarily defects.

3. Product Dimensions

Product dimensions may have minor tolerances due to the manufacturing and measurement process. Customers should verify the product dimensions, ceiling height, electrical requirements, mounting conditions, and installation clearance before ordering.

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and may change without notice. Applicable taxes and any available shipping charges will be displayed during checkout.

We reserve the right to correct pricing, product information, or typographical errors. If an error affects an order, we may contact you for instructions or cancel and refund the affected order.

Payment must be successfully authorized before an order is processed.

5. Orders

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel an order because of suspected fraud, pricing errors, product availability, shipping restrictions, or other reasonable circumstances.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

6. Order Changes and Cancellations

Please contact us within 24 hours after placing an order if you need to request a change or cancellation. Changes and cancellations are not guaranteed after processing or production has begun.

Custom-made products cannot be canceled or changed after production has started.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Processing and delivery estimates are provided for reference and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Delays may occur because of carrier operations, weather, peak seasons, product customization, address problems, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Additional costs caused by an incorrect address, refused delivery, failed delivery attempt, or unauthorized address change may be charged to the customer.

8. Returns and Refunds

Returns, refunds, cancellations, damaged items, and non-returnable items are governed by our Return and Refund Policy. Customers must contact us and receive approval before returning an item.

9. Installation and Electrical Safety

Lighting fixtures must be installed by a qualified and licensed electrician in accordance with the product instructions and all applicable electrical and building codes.

Always disconnect electrical power before installation, inspection, cleaning, or maintenance. Host Lighting is not responsible for injury, damage, or loss caused by improper installation, incorrect wiring, unauthorized modification, misuse, or failure to follow applicable instructions and safety requirements.

10. Custom Products

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all dimensions, finishes, drawings, specifications, and other customization details before production begins.

Custom-made products may require additional production time and are generally not eligible for cancellation, return, or refund after production has begun, except where the product arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the approved specifications.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, graphics, logos, designs, page layouts, and product presentation, is owned by or licensed to Host Lighting and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, or commercially use our website content without prior written permission.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may use or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the availability, content, privacy practices, or actions of independent third-party websites or service providers.

13. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the website to:

Violate applicable laws or regulations
Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or harmful information

You agree to indemnify and hold Host Lighting harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another party’s rights.
